Music Hub

The Music Hub is a dedicated multi-speaker control tile for managing music across your home. It goes beyond a standard media player tile — group speakers, browse your library, adjust per-speaker volume, and control playback from your wrist.

The Music Hub has six pages, accessible via tabs at the bottom:

  • Controls — Play/pause, skip, shuffle, favorite, volume, and now-playing info with seek bar
  • Speakers — Toggle individual speakers on/off and apply group presets
  • Volume — Per-speaker volume sliders with mute
  • Library — Browse playlists, albums, and tracks directly on the watch
  • Queue — See the upcoming tracks and tap any one to jump to it
  • More — Repeat, stop, clear queue, sleep timer, sound mode, and library sort

Configure up to 3 speaker group presets in the editor — for example, “Whole House”, “Downstairs”, or “Office Only”. Tap a preset on the Speakers page to instantly regroup your speakers.

You can also toggle individual speakers on and off manually. Changes take effect immediately.

Drag to reorder — In the iPhone editor, speakers and presets both support drag-to-reorder. Put your most-used speakers at the top, arrange presets by frequency, and the watch mirrors the order.

Tap a speaker on the Volume page to open an arc slider for precise adjustment. Use the Digital Crown for fine-tuning.

  • Mute — Tap the mute button to silence a speaker. It remembers the previous volume and restores it when you unmute.
  • Sync volumes — Lock all speaker volumes together so adjusting one adjusts all.
  • Master volume — Long-press the volume button to adjust all speakers at once.

Browse your music library without pulling out your phone:

  • Playlists, albums, tracks — Tap a category to browse, tap an item to play
  • Sort by date — Toggle between newest-first and alphabetical
  • Favorites — Mark tracks as favorites from the Controls page

See what’s coming up next. The Queue page lists upcoming tracks with the current one highlighted — tap any track to jump straight to it. Like the Library, the queue is a Music Assistant feature.

Enable Show Album Art in the editor to display album artwork as the tile background when music is playing. A gradient overlay keeps the label readable.

Set a sleep timer from the More page. Music fades out and stops when the timer expires.

In the editor, add a tile and switch it to Music Hub mode. Add the media player entities you want to control as speakers. Optionally configure group presets and enable album art.
