Support

Need help? Here’s how to get it.

Open Settings → Support in the iPhone app for everything in one place:

  • Documentation — Opens these docs.
  • Troubleshooting Guide — Opens the Troubleshooting & FAQ page.
  • Discord Community — Jump straight to the community server.
  • Feedback & Support — Opens the GitHub issue tracker.
  • Support Diagnostics — Creates a debug bundle you can share when reporting an issue, so we can see what’s going on without a lot of back-and-forth.

See what changed in each release on the changelog page.

Most issues have quick fixes. Start with the Troubleshooting & FAQ page — it covers connection problems, sync issues, gesture setup, camera troubleshooting, and more.

Found something broken? Open an issue on GitHub:

github.com/NylonDiamond/wristassistant-feedback

Include as much detail as you can:

  • What you expected to happen
  • What actually happened
  • Your watch model and watchOS version
  • Your Home Assistant version
  • Steps to reproduce the issue

Screenshots or screen recordings are always helpful.

Have an idea? Feature requests go to the same place:

Check existing issues first — someone might have already suggested it. If so, give it a thumbs up so we know there’s demand.

For anything that doesn’t fit in a GitHub issue — account questions, premium purchase issues, or private inquiries:

We aim to respond within 48 hours.

Join other Wrist Assistant users to share layouts, tips, and tricks:

  • Discord — Chat with other users, ask questions, share your setup, and get help directly. This is the main community hub, and there’s a Discord Community link right in the app under Settings → Support.

A few things that solve most issues:

  1. Check the Troubleshooting page — seriously, most answers are there
  2. Make sure you’re on the latest version — update Wrist Assistant from the App Store
  3. Restart the watch app — long sessions can accumulate memory pressure
  4. Re-sync your layout — open the iPhone app with the watch app in the foreground
  5. Check Home Assistant — if an entity shows “unavailable”, the fix is on the HA side
