Page Peek

Page Peek shows a page as a dismissible overlay on top of the page you’re on. Tap a Peek Page tile, glance at it, and dismiss — you’re back where you started.

Useful for pages you want to check frequently but don’t want to navigate to. Cameras. Security status. Now playing. A dashboard of everything that’s on.

  1. Add a Peek Page tile to any page in the iPhone editor and pick the target page
  2. Tap the tile on your watch
  3. The target page fades in over the current one

Tap the drag handle at the top of the peek overlay or pull down to dismiss. Either way, you end up back where you started — same page, same scroll position.

Any page in your config can be peeked. Hidden pages (ones not in the page switcher) are especially useful as peek targets — they’re only reachable through a Peek Page tile.

Both open a page, but they’re different:

  • Page Jump switches you to that page. You navigate. You come back manually.
  • Page Peek overlays the page. You’re still on your original page underneath. Dismiss and you’re already back.

Use Page Jump for pages you want to spend time on. Use Page Peek for a glance.

When you create a page, you can mark it Hidden. Hidden pages don’t appear in the page switcher or swipe navigation — they’re only reachable through:

Good for dashboards you only want to see when you ask for them.

In the iPhone app, open the page where you want the tile → Add TilePeek Page → pick the target page. Size and style the tile like any other.

You can place multiple Peek Page tiles across your dashboard — one for cameras, one for the security dashboard, one for the now-playing page — and reach any of them with a single tap.

Every peeked page has a drag handle at the top of the screen. Tap it or pull down to dismiss — haptic feedback and a close sound confirm the gesture registered.

You can peek a page from inside a peek. A row of small depth dots appears just above the first tile row — one dot per peek level — so you always know how deep you are. Dismissing a peek pops one level off the stack.

The same target page can appear at multiple peek depths, so a “Cameras” page peeked from the kitchen and again from the security dashboard both work without conflict.

Page Peek is a Premium feature. Peek overlays unlock with the one-time purchase.

  • Build a “Cameras” page and make it hidden + peekable. One tile, all cameras, back to work.
  • Pair a peek-page tile with a status-page tile (status pages) — two single-tap overlays on one dashboard for a glanceable home summary.
