Need help? Here’s how to get it.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Most issues have quick fixes. Start with the Troubleshooting & FAQ page — it covers connection problems, sync issues, gesture setup, camera troubleshooting, and more.
Report a Bug
Section titled “Report a Bug”Found something broken? Open an issue on GitHub:
github.com/AstronautApps/wristassistant-issues
Include as much detail as you can:
- What you expected to happen
- What actually happened
- Your watch model and watchOS version
- Your Home Assistant version
- Steps to reproduce the issue
Screenshots or screen recordings are always helpful.
Request a Feature
Section titled “Request a Feature”Have an idea? Feature requests go to the same place:
github.com/AstronautApps/wristassistant-issues
Check existing issues first — someone might have already suggested it. If so, give it a thumbs up so we know there’s demand.
For anything that doesn’t fit in a GitHub issue — account questions, premium purchase issues, or private inquiries:

Section titled “Community”Join other WristAssistant users to share layouts, tips, and tricks:
- GitHub Discussions — Ask questions, share your setup, see what others are building
- Home Assistant Community Forum — Search for “WristAssistant” to find related threads
Before You Reach Out
Section titled “Before You Reach Out”A few things that solve most issues:
- Check the Troubleshooting page — seriously, most answers are there
- Make sure you’re on the latest version — update WristAssistant from the App Store
- Restart the watch app — long sessions can accumulate memory pressure
- Re-sync your layout — open the iPhone app with the watch app in the foreground
- Check Home Assistant — if an entity shows “unavailable”, the fix is on the HA side
