Your First Page

You’re connected. Time to set up a layout.

{/* video: fast-forward of building a page from scratch */}

Open the iPhone app and tap the add button. Search for devices by name or browse by domain. Add as many as you want.

Good first picks:

  • A few lights you toggle daily
  • Your front door lock
  • The thermostat
  • A scene like “Good Night” or “Movie Mode”
  • A camera for your front door (use a 2x1 or bigger tile)

Drag your most-used devices near the top. Tap a tile to change its size, colors, icon, label, and more. When you’re happy, tap Save (top right).

Tap back or the Pages button on the bottom nav bar to get to the pages screen, then tap Add Page. Create as many as you want — “Favorites” and “All Lights”, or “Downstairs” and “Upstairs”, whatever matches how you think about your home.

For the initial sync, make sure both the watch app and the iPhone app are open and in the foreground.

Once synced, try these interactions:

  • Tap a light to toggle it on/off
  • Double-tap a light to open its control view with more options. Slide your finger left and right on the bottom controls to quickly scan through settings.
  • Long-press a light for quick actions — keep your finger down and slide to an icon without lifting. The control opens with your finger still down. Adjust the value and lift your finger when you’re happy. To cancel, slide to the red X and let go. Try brightness first.
  • Swipe left to see your second page
  • Tap a scene to activate it
